Amenities The three bedrooms each have an ocean view, and sleep 2, 2, and 3 people. The loft houses a double futon. Bed linens are provided for all beds (with the exception of the futon in the loft, where we recommend that guests bring sleeping bags). There is a double air mattress with a pump available in the front closet for additional sleeping space; please let us know if you'd like us to leave out extra bed linens for the air mattress. Bath towels are also provided for all guests, but we ask that guests bring their own beach towels/beach blankets.   The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, paper products, spices, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and all the basics. There is a coffee grinder and double coffee pot, as well as a toaster, microwave, and other essential appliances. Laundry facilities are now available for guests - the washer and dryer are located in a closet in the pink bedroom. Please shake out or rinse off any sandy clothes before washing. The house has a flat screen TV equipped with basic cable, as well as a Blu-Ray DVD/CD player and an auxilary plug for an IPOD. Guests also have full access to free wireless internet. The Blu-Ray player now streams Pandora as well as a selected list of Netflix movies. An assortment of games and books can be found in the cupboards in the dining room, living room, and hallway. Check-in is at 4pm, and check-out is at 11am. Are pets allowed? No, sorry. Oceana cannot accommodate any pets. Are there stores nearby? Yes - Downtown Yachats is less than a mile away, and the Yachats Market carries all the essentials. What about groups? Oceana has bed space to accommodate up to nine guests (+ an air mattress for another two guests). If you have a larger group, please contact us to discuss your visit. Can kids sleep in the loft? The loft is accessible by ladder, and as such, we ask that only children 12 and above be permitted to use this space. Do the bedrooms have ocean views? Yes - all bedrooms, as well as the sleeping loft (sleeping 2, 2, 3, and 2) have views of the ocean and beaches. Does Oceana have a TV and DVD Player? Yes - the TV has basic cable and a Blu-Ray DVD player is attached. The video rental store along Hwy 101 in Yachats is just minutes away (next door to the Yachats Market). If you plan to use the loft, please bring sleeping bags. What time of year is best to visit? All year-round - although the weather is the warmest in the spring and summer (May - October), the winter often brings amazing storms and intense high and low tides. Can we see whales from the house? Sometimes! In the past year, we've seen a few whales, along with countless seals and otters, from the front deck. October and April are the best time to catch them.
